Indeed, the Narcissist in Chief. Just imagine … Wakes up in his gilded bedroom with solid gold rollers in his phony blonde hair. Waddles into his gold plated bathroom, sprays his face Halloween orange and flips his hair into a lemon meringue birds nest bouffant, actually thinking he looks good. Shuffles into his golden dressing room to put on his typical red tie, white shirt and blue suit. But those aren’t real clothes; they’re only his presidential costume, like having a nationalistic Elvis impersonator in the White House. Soon facing the cameras, he begins to tell lies and continues lying for the rest of the day, every day, hoping to keep his 32% MAGA faithful on the hook. In the words of Michael Corleone, he is a complete falsehood; as the Platters would say, call him the Great Pretender; and as you correctly note, the guy is a Raging Impostor.
Eric, as usual, your comments are The BEST! What an amazing, fascinating life you've led combining work and interests that don't usually fit together.
Having been married to an English lady and spending lots of time in Cotswold and other rural pubs where the English language spoken was often foreign to me, here's a list of their slang. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_slang
it must be hell being a young person and trying to have some obscure slang term that the oldsters just don’t get. In the before times, it could last for months or years.
Now everyone can just go to Urban Dictionary, and find out what it means.
Using slang as nothing to do with being an impostor. But the term “imposter syndrome” is just one of those terms of psycho jargon that get under my skin.

And yet he has his personal lawyer, Todd fucking Blanche, confirmed by our impotent impostor Senate. How much worse can things get?

Thanks, Steve. That’s quite a list you’ve sent me. But I’m afraid it would take the rest of my life to learn it.🤩

Oddly ;
I like and use pretty much all of the slang words you posted .

Okay, gotcha .
I have a really odd vocabulary, I tend to pick up words & phrases I like everywhere I go .

You’re the Cat’s Pajamas, Man! I like capital letters, even when they’re not, strictly speaking, necessary—at least in current English.
Thanks, but don’t you mean “bees’ knees“?🤩
Well said on all counts .
Being born & raised in New England as well as the 50's & 60's is, I think, a very specific thing .
Luckily I never meet others as off beat as I am .
You sound pretty well adjusted to me .
