But, but, but, you never told us how you wrapped up the tree-climbing episode. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are dancing with the President elect. Have you ever heard of a dancing President? Trump is dangerous because he's NOT a politician, and he's not stuffing his cabinet with Washington "players." And, he just might succeed at uncoupling our nation from endless warmaking and support for genocide. MAGA, MAHA, and the latest MACA (Make America Classy Again, thanks to Melania).

Wonderful post and great photos - Love the one with the little kid looking enthralled! My only claim to fame was that I was briefly (very) a stripper in ninth grade. Word got out and my father seemed quite amused which stopped by budding (ahem ) career in its tracks. Ahh to think of what might have been

I appreciate the comic relief and your clown in NYC story. I loved the photos, too. It's amazing you still have them.

Well, I hope it’s true, that you got some comedy and some relief, from my post. I guess I have the photos because it was a big part of my life and my career, in fact for about five years. Grants, gigs, performances. All documented. Even on a website since the age of the Internet. Ha ha. Thanks to photographer, Anita Feldman!!,

...a society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in...but always, to her, red and green cabbages were to be jade and burgundy, chrysoprase and porphyry. Life has no weapons against a woman like that...I see myself as an intelligent, sensitive human, with the soul of a clown which forces me to blow it at the most important moments...I remain just one thing, and one thing only, and that is a clown. It places me on a far higher plane than any politician...

I never thought of you as “a clown“, but more as an Idiosyncratic artistic Faerie. So I’m delighted to learn that you are, indeed, a member of “the tribe“.😁❤️❤️

I remember the news coverage when Gino ran for mayor, but I had no idea he had such big history in NYC! Thank you for this stellar account of his career....
