Volcanos. They keep the world moving. I see them throughout your writing. And I hear plenty of politics and religion (inseparable these days) at our pickleball courts.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Ted. Certainly, I am familiar with volcanos in my life, and I do cause a few on the Pickleball courts myself. 🀠 But I am grateful that I am no longer in Los Angeles, and I haven’t seen or heard of any antisemitism so far here in Santa Fe.

Jerry lee Lewis was the guy who wed his thirteen year old cousin!!!!

She was 14. I interviewed her mother and father years ago in Georgia. He played bass on Great Balls of Fire. The mother is the woman on the piano with Jerry Lee and Elvis at Sun Studios.

Thanks for the 1 year correction, Jeff. And for the 1 degree of separation! Which piano with Jerry Lee & Elvis are u referring to? Andrew Hickey, he of the Rock podcast I write of at the top of this post, speaks of the great night Elvis, Carl Perkins, an unknown Jerry Lee, and a supposed Johnny Cash all recorded at Sun Studios.

That’s right! And if u start listening to Mr. Hickey’s podcast, u will quickly discover that he is far from the worst of the selfish, narcissistic, greedy, womanizing thugs who populate the history of rock β€˜n rollllllll!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, now, I have read the whole thing, after only listening to Jerry Lee Lewis before the first 'thank you': this is a hilarious 'father of a teenager' post and 'husband of the most enterprising wife on the planet' post. Am very happy for all three of you!!! ( and congrats to your son!!)
